“pick-up location was la mensa. awesome transfer bus with beds and wifi. great tour guide called vue. hotel (the view hotel) is royal - very great food and helpful and friendly staff. bring gumboots for walk or purchase them for 30K Dong at homestay (tracks are very slippery and muddy with sneakers). homestay also awesome (food, people, bungalow). NEGATIVE: on the way back to sapa to catch the transfer bus, we drove in a taxi. the taxi driver asked for money even though it said all transfers were included.”
