“When I decided that I wanted to hike a glacier for my birthday I started my rigorous search for the best company and landed on “Glaciers and Waterfalls” and the reviews were spot on. Our guide “ Ignacio” was INCREDIBLE! The perfect balance of funny, informative, and quiet (allowing us to either rest or take in the beautiful scenery in silence during the drive). It’s a long day, (11-12 hrs) but honestly it didn’t feel like it, after we returned I even headed out to grab dinner and do a little more sightseeing in Reykjavík. Book the trip and take the hike! (Also…please be honest with yourself and your physical…”

“Wow what a day! This was absolutely amazing. You really see so much. The Glacier Hike is the highlight (Luis was excellent). My only wish was that they cut the glacier hike down by 30-40mins to allow more time at the other stops. We couldnt walk to the top of one of the falls due to time restrictions. Otherwise great tour”

“This was one of the best activities that I booked for my Iceland trip! Francesco, was the absolute most amazing guide myself or the group could have possibly have asked for, he made sure all of us learned how to do everything and were safe before we did everything (the crampons and walking on the ice with them, climbing, rappelling, etc). We were able to do and see so much in the amount of time we had for this tour. If I come back and do this activity again, I would for sure try and request him!”

“Wonderful day spent in the south of Iceland. The falls and beaches were beautiful. The glacier walk was a great experience. However it is not a walk and should not be rated as easy. The walk required hiking boots you can rent them, as well as crampons, helmet, ice axe, and harness provided by the tour. The walk was 4 hours in duration which included round trip hiking to the glacial lagoon, strapping on the crampons, climbing up the face of the glacier, hiking on the top of the glacier and then back down again, the same path. The guide was a very energetic, enthusiatic, and quite capable young lady.…”
